Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Kristen and I am so happy that you have found Results with Compassion Coaching. I would like to share a little about me.
In 2002, I met who I thought ,was my worst enemy; the one that stole my energy; who I was, my security and strength, and it turned into mornings throwing up, not eating, and fearing nearly everything. The enemy was Anxiety. Coming out of nowhere, after an extremely stressful time, I, the one that fixes things and people, the one who had a successful business, one that was always smiling. Yup, it happened to me, debilitated me for a year. The enemy was NOT the anxiety. The anxiety was the best thing that ever happened… it brought me to live my passion and purpose.
In 2005, I knew I needed to take what I taught myself through the journey with anxiety and depression, and hopefully make a difference in someone’s life. If I could reach one person, I had done what I set out to do. I wrote a book called, “It’s Okay to Have Anxiety…Really!” I penned my story, and I shared my soul. I never really liked the title, but it was how I felt. It is Okay to Have Anxiety... it really is. The difference is, how we react to it, how we fuel it, and how we show our own personal power and strength.
I had to do more than just write a book to help others. This is my passion- actually what brings me so much joy, happiness, empathy, compassion and education. I researched, and found Life Coaching. Then began studying and studying to learn everything I could, to be the best I could be in helping people change their lives for the better.
I received my first certification of Master Life Coach and Spiritual Life Coach, from Coaches Alliance and the best mentor anyone could ask for…Dr. Randon Brons. I created Life Coaching World Wide, now, Results with Compassion Coaching, because I did not want anyone to be left behind. Being from New Hampshire, I had the privilege to coach people in Paris, Boston, Wisconsin, Michigan, Massachusetts and so many more amazing people and places.
Life makes you grow, and as a woman that has an intense sense of caring for others, I needed to learn more and be able to help others that were not just anxious. I went on to get my Certification in Wellness, Stress Management from Harvard, my Certified Holistic Life Coach Designation, NLP Certification and most recently, Certified in Relationship Facilitator Coach.
My mom would always say, “Kristen, you have a gift of making people feel better.” It truly is a gift if I can do that, because throughout everyone’s life, there are struggles, obstacles, change, insecurities, and if I can bring light to a dark situation, that is my wish, my meaning. As early as first grade, I always wanted to make people smile or brighten their days. I used my humor to bring smiles to faces, I used my arms to hug those that were sad. I used my heart to show my love for everyone.
I have a sense of humor, which I feel is very important as a Life Coach. My style is natural, like you are talking with your friend. That is very important to me, because the most important thing is to have you comfortable and feel heard; that is how growth and change comes about.
I do hold my clients accountable. I do challenge them to seek within themselves, to find their greatness, their passion and their blocks. We are a team and there is no “I” in team. It’s you and me, and together we will bring you to where you want to be.
Coaching is an investment, but an investment of the most important kind…YOU!
