Books I Have Written & Reviews

I'm not a doctor or a psychologist, I am an anxiety sufferer. I read this book and the author was describing me. What I liked most about the book was the feeling of care and warmth the author gave off. I loved this book.

“In a time of pervasive, chronic pain and distress, much of it imperceptible to the human eye, Kristen Baker’s book, “Invisible Pain”, is a powerful and poignant glimpse into the lives of those afflicted.  She gives concrete and gripping examples of real lives affected by the impact and interference caused by physical pain, including that of her own daughter.  Baker encapsulates the words and experiences of these individuals and leaves us with improved knowledge, insight and empathy for the plight of those who suffer physically from pain that has no obvious or recognizable symptoms, but is as real as the day is long.  Her book culminates with strong suggestions for overcoming and coping with that pain, and learning to live and enjoy life, despite the pain.”
